Chapter 6 - Family Life

Alice says
Lulu doesn’t play anymore.
She’s an adult now! Fabio thinks
Haven’t you noticed?

Alice leaves the room.

A home of your own
Fabio thinks
It’s hard sharing with your parents.
They treat you like a child.
They want to know every little detail of your life.
You’ve got no privacy.
You can’t bring girlfriends home.
I don’t have a social life.
I work in a restaurant 5 nights a week.
I’m saving money to get a place of my own.
I study hard.
I’m grateful to my parents for everything they do.
I’m grateful to them for letting me live here rent-free.
When I finish my studies I’ll get a good job.
I want to buy a bigger flat for my parents and sisters.
